Director of Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and Deputy Chief of the Office of the provincial People’s Committee appointed Update: 02-07-2021
On the afternoon of July 1, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Cao Tien Dung presided over a ceremony to announce decisions on personnel affairs. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Son Hung, Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Tan Duc; Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang; and the representatives of the Party Committee of the provincial Agency Bloc, the Office of the provincial People’s Committee; and the Department of Home Affairs and Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology.

At the ceremony, Director of the provincial Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Thanh Tu announced the decision of the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee on receiving and appointing Mr. Lai The Thong, the Standing Member and Head of the Economic and Budgetary Committee of the provincial People’s Council as the Director of Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology as from July 1, 2021 with the appointment period of 5 years. Simultaneously, he announced the decision on receiving and appointing Mr. Nguyen Phong An, Member of the Executive Committee of the Long Thanh district’s Party Committee as the Deputy Chief of the Office of the provincial People’s Committee as from July 1, 2021 with the appointment period of 5 years.

Addressing the ceremony, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Cao Tien Dung extended his congratulations to the newly-appointed comrades. The Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee suggested that the newly-appointed comrades ought to continue to unite with the leaders of the provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Office of the provincial People’s Committee for the successful completion of their assigned tasks.

Addressing their appointment ceremony, Mr. Lai The Thong and Mr. Nguyen Phong An asserted their determination to unite and overcome difficulties so that they could focus on successfully implementing their assigned tasks together with the leadership of the new unit.
